Biology: silvatic, in bromeliads and palm trees; has been taken at light; occasionally found in rural houses.

(note: M. pratai Sherlock & Guitton, 1982, is a synonym of the reduviid Aradomorpha championi Lent & Wygodzinsky, 1945).(see Lent, 1982).
